Holiday Family Gift Exchange is published by Dovi Industries (Doviapp). Last updated September 13, 2026.
Your email address and password (hashed) to sign you in. For each exchange: its name, holiday, party date, host, address and budget as the organizer typed them; the family names; and for each child, what a grown-up in the family entered: first name, optional age, gender and interests, a wish-list link, gift ideas, who is buying for them and whether the gift is bought.
This is shared with the members of that exchange. The only other place it goes is the AI service behind the Gift Advisor, and only after you agree to it (see below). We do not sell it, we do not show ads, and we do not track anyone across other apps or websites.
This app is for grown-ups organizing gifts. Children do not have accounts. Everything about a child is entered by an adult in their family and is visible to the adults in the same exchange, so the right presents get bought.
A parent can link a child's Gift Day Card (called a Santa Card when that family has Holiday mode on) from our sister app, Happy Gift Day. When they do, this app fetches that card live from Happy Gift Day using the parent's share link and shows it on the child's gift card to the members of the exchange: the mood as words and a simple meter, and the wishlist if the parent chose to share it. The parent decides what the card shows and can stop sharing at any time in Happy Gift Day; the card then disappears here.
When a member taps "I'm getting this one" on a wishlist item, their family name is sent to Happy Gift Day and shown to the parent and other card holders, never to the child.
The Gift Advisor and the Setup Guide are AI assistants. They use an AI model provided through Base44, the platform this app is built on. Before the first message, the app asks for your permission, and nothing is sent unless you agree.
When you send a message, the app sends it together with a summary of your exchange: its name and holiday, the party theme and budget, the family names, and each child's first name, age, gender, interests and gift ideas so far. The AI service uses this to write the reply, and the conversation is kept with your account. Using the assistants is optional; everything else in the app works without them.
If the organizer sets a party date, everyone in that exchange gets one reminder email seven days before. Wish-list links open the site you entered (for example Amazon) in your browser; we do not control those sites.
Crash and performance reports are part of the platform this app is built on (Base44). They can include a device identifier, device model, system version and which screen was open. They are not tied to your name or email.
The app is free to use. The free plan runs one exchange with 3 families and 10 kids. Those caps apply to the organizer only; joining an exchange someone else organizes is always free.
Holiday Plus, $4.99 a year. Unlimited families and kids in your exchange. New subscribers pay an introductory $2.99 for the first year, then $4.99 a year after that.
Family Pass, $7.99 a year. Everything in Holiday Plus, unlimited exchanges, and it also unlocks our sister app Happy Gift Day for the same account email while it is active. New subscribers pay an introductory $4.99 for the first year, then $7.99 a year after that.
Both plans are auto-renewing annual subscriptions. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. The introductory price applies to the first year only; after that the subscription renews automatically each year at the standard price above, which is higher than the introductory price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current year ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. The purchase screen always shows the exact price you will be charged before you confirm.
How to cancel. You can cancel at any time, and cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the year you already paid for. On iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose this app, then Cancel Subscription. On Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, tap Payments & subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, choose this app, then Cancel subscription. You can also reach both of those screens from Settings inside this app.
Refunds are handled by the store that billed you, Apple or Google, under that store's own policy. We cannot issue store refunds ourselves, but write to us and we will help.
Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your country; the price you are charged is always the one shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. We may change prices for future renewal periods, and the store will tell you before that happens.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use this app. Do not misuse it, break it, or use it to harm anyone. The app is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error free.
In the app: open Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm. This deletes your account right away.
You are removed from every exchange. If you organized an exchange that still has other members, the longest-standing member becomes its organizer so the family is not stranded. If you were the only member, that exchange and its families and kids are deleted with your account. Deletion cannot be undone.
Without app access: email support@doviapp.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We do it within a few days and confirm by email.
